Donald Mates

     An attorney since 1989, Donald spent five years as a JAG officer defending soldiers at courts-martial; 12 years as a Suffolk County District Attorney; and now specializes as a litigation attorney in the areas of Criminal, Matrimonial and Family Court matters. 

1988 - St. John's Law School Graduate.

1989 - Appointed U.S. Army JAG Officer.

1994 - Appointed Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney.

2001 - Adjunct Professor Briarcliffe College.

2005 - Champion for Children / Parents for Megan's Law.

2006 - Enters Private Practice.
